20 Meetup Groups match “Park Games” near Sausalito, CA
We play capture the flag on weekends every three weeks. Sometimes we play at night; those games are really, really good. Otherwise we play in the afternoon. Those games are good too. After the games, we hang out, often in a restaurant. All who are interested in playing will be accommodated (including any friends you want to bring). If you decide to come at the last minute, don't worry about making a reservation; just come to the appointed meeting place. More players are always welcome. If you ca …

Whether you are a beginner, a pro, or someone who just fell in love with the movie Dodgeball and want to see what its all about, then come out and play! We play 1-2 games per month and are very consistent. We usually have 2-4 teams play on outdoor courts and its a good combination of 1st timers and our regular players. No worries if you are new to the game, because while we take the 3D's of dodgeball seriously, its all about having a good time! If you want to be outside and get some good exercis …

I am gauging the interest in a stickball meetup group. If I can get enough interested parties (3-4 teams of 3-5 people) we can meet at James Lick Middle School, Dolores park, or similar area for play.
Depending on the number of players, we can use official stickball field setup and rules (4-8 players), or baseball / softball style setup and rules (9-12 players). I have added some images to show the difference.

I am not finding a whole lot of meet ups dedicated to just making friends with other queer folks. My vision is to meet up, play some basketball (shooting around and after we are warmed up maybe a game), and then maybe go grab a coke and be friends. If that sounds like fun to you, invite yourself and join in! I am new to the area and need friends to spend time with. I love all sports so if basketball doesn't work out let's play some football or frisbee or make some crafts. I love everything!
Founded in June 2002, The San Francisco Euchre Club is the largest of its kind on the West Coast. We're a laid-back and diverse group brought together by our love of Euchre. Most of us are transplants, mainly from the Great Lakes, Midwest & Canada - with a growing contingent of Locals, too! We're Guys & Girls, a wide age range (21+), Gays & Straights, and a neat mix of occupations and playing levels. We have 4 regularly scheduled Euchre nights each month at conveniently located bar/restaurants …

The goal of this group is pretty straightforward: meetup with other 20-somethings in SF, make great new friends, and join in on a variety of activities & events. I'll encourage a variety of events for all types of people - it can range from chilling in the park, to hiking, playing board-games, or bar-hopping; you propose it and we can try it. The only restrictions for this group are that you must be 1) in your twenties, 2) a nice person, and 3) actually show up (most of the time) when you RSVP y …

Meet other internationally-minded people with social sports affiliation and learn this newly revitalized Ancient Ball Game. Wiser Sport is a light exercise team sport with a focus on aim and strategy. The Wiser sport originated as the most prestigious ball sport played in ancient palaces and royal courts by emperors, kings, ministers, scholar- officials and Western heads of state in order to cultivate the ability to strategize, exercise the body, and engage in a battle of wits. Ever since I moved from San Francisco to the East Bay to start a family, I have enjoyed my days of sunshine, not waiting in line to get into the Trader Joe's parking lot, and my backyard. What I'm missing are the networking events of San Francisco and Silicon Valley which all happen around the same time I have to give my newborn a bath. If this sounds like you, or if you are in the start up world (or want to be) but are on the East Side of the Bridge + Tunnel, join this group. Our restaurants an …

This is a group for those who feel interpersonally or emotionally in the range 10-20ish (despite being 18 or over in body), and find it difficult to connect socially in the "default" 20s (or older) culture of bars and pre-established groups of friends. If you see kids playing in the park and wish you could be like them, or dream of going back to a middle or high school dance because you wonder why the guys or girls around you don't act like they did back then, this is the group for you. You may …

This is a group for those looking to get together and play the Nerf War game Humans vs. Zombies (http://humansvszombies.org). These meet ups will take place in Public Parks and Spaces, with a rotating set of venues. Slightly Varied Human vs Zombies rules apply: A small amount of zombies start the round, and if a Human is touched, they become a Zombie. Humans get a set amount of time to make it to the safe zone, and Zombies are "stunned" for 30 seconds if hit by a Human. Soft Foam (Nerf) weapons …

Pétanque (pronounced "pay-tonk") originated in Provence, France at the turn of the last century. It's played with metal balls (boules) and, like horseshoes and bocce, is easy to learn and fun to play. You throw the boules while standing with your feet together in a circle. There's a small wooden target ball (the cochonnet), which you have to get as close as possible to. What makes the game so appealing, is that you can be way ahead for a while, yet lose a second later, or vice versa. Because not …
