For all you park and fitness enthusiasts out there, the Field & Street Hockey for Fun and Fitness Group invites you to participate in a sporting activity that is fitted for both men and women / guys and gals.
Field or Street Hockey is a non-contact sport that plays similarly to soccer but with small hockey sticks and a tennis ball instead.
Field Hockey is actually a professional sport played by both men and women. Our group is a much simpler and flexible form of both field and street hockey that is played in beautiful Battery Park City!
We welcome anyone to play. Beginners welcome! Come join us at Battery Park City (Hudson River Park) for some great outdoor fun!
note: we'll begin meetups when we sign up enough members :)
